thats fine that our logic differs But I will refrain from calling another's dumb just because I dont agree with it.
so are they going to appeal Findley's yellow so he'll be able to play next game? Or can you even appeal a yellow, or is that red only?
the US had control of their own destiny regardless of what happened in the algeria/england game. a 2 goal win over algeria in the final game would have put the US through no matter what happened in the england/algeria and england/slovenia games.
I thought Slovenia played very very good though in the first half. I was impressed with their passing and overall confidence. They're a good team. I agree that our defense put us in a hole, but the ref cost us the game. WE SCORED A GOAL AND IT WAS WAIVED OFF FOR NO REASON. The score was 3-2 and we were robbed.
It is sad that there is sport with more flopping than basketball. Never seen so many grown men cry in a 2 hour time span. What a bunch of babies.
look guys I can see you disagree with me, and I disagree with you, which is totally fine. Nothing you can say will change my mind, and nothing I can say will change how you view it. No point of turning this into a back and forth thread like the religion threads
also one thing I want to add... I'm not saying that you are wrong for your viewpoints and that I am right... Thats not the stance I am taking.
To come back from 2 goals down and not only tie but win in ONE half is a testament to the teams resilience. Saying something like "well if they played defense in the first half, blah blah blah" is basically shitting on their great second half comeback and on them.
weird I was replying to Professional Fans post and its gone. Oh well. lol I didnt say you called me dumb good sir.
I think it is beautiful that people are getting fired up about that blown call. The passion for for the Nats warms my heart
It's too bad that ref didn't get kicked out of the tourney. He was a line judge in the Italy/NZ game.
