    If it were available for cash, there's no reason we shouldn't have grabbed it since we are trying to get ahead of SA who picks 20th......Unless something else is already lined up

    I doubt it was available for cash since they sent out Cook with it - they needed someone with a TPE or cap space to absorb his contract.

    Is it at all possible that Pritchard has another deal lined up?

    Also, did OKC just use cap space on Daequan Cook and the 18th pick?

    That's basically paying $3 million for the pick, isn't it?

    FWIW, Beasley's also there for the taking. I'd surmise you could get him for a 2015 draft pick...IF YOU HAD CAP SPACE to absorb his contract.

    Let's see here. Presti uses basically $2 million (not 3, my bad) in cap space to get Cook and the pick, which in return gives Miami an extra $2 million to use in this motherload summer of FAs?

    Apparently Larry Sanders is going to be the cap space splash for OKC?
