Eh. Joe? If they're going to get LeBron there are better pairings.

This seems like a need signing over talent.

Lebron has told the teams they stand a better chance of getting him if they could sign two FA.

That is why Miami and Chicago have been freeing up money.

JJ and Bron add to Rose and Noah? Johnson is the old man of the bunch! LOL Not a bad core to keep together.

Sign Bosh, or another scoring big instead.

What are the Bulls leaning to, in your estimation?

Do they have a shot at Bosh/Amare ?

This is risky for the Bulls and less they know for sure LeBron is signing with them.

A shot? Yes, but I dont look for us to go after Amare. We could have had him at trade deadline in 2009. We didnt.

Bosh is another story. We shall see. I think we can get him, trouble is, its rumored he likes Miami and LA more. Amare likes Miami as well.

What scares me is the Bulls have targeted Johnson for a couple of years. If we are to believe the source of the rumor, then they have him already. I want a big man, then 'Bron.

Our need has been a SG and a PF that can post up and run. Gibson and Noah played well last year. We have a big kid coming from over seas this fall. Also maybe the Bulls think they can resign Miller, (I hope so). It seems to them that the PF position may be covered and filled already. I dont think it is. We meet the Lakers in the playoffs, their length will bother us. No doubt.

Of course if we already have Johnson in the bag, then the SG need is covered.

I say go after Bron and Dirk. I didnt really get the original post, so im takin this with a grain of salt. A line up with Bron and Dirk would be a absolute nightmare for teams. Lets say we add a cheaper SG who can shoot (like a Jesus Shuttlesworth lol) and I dont see why we can win the east.

Dirk would fit well with Bron and supporting cast. I dont see him leaving Dallas.

Bulls need more advanced people in their front office, if they put Joe first on their consolation prize list.

Some ppl say he's opting out of his contract tho. I dont see him leaving either, but with Dirk and hypothetically say Ray Allen, that leaves the lanes open for Rose and Lebron. Oh the havoc that would create.

"according to sources, bulls will sign joe johnson to a 4year deal 60 million dolars, and tomorrow will try and most likely trade deng for more cap space,so to sign lebron, and also reinsdorf is willing to pay the luxury tax right now"

I don't see how the Bulls can get to the Luxury Tax level.

I think the fucker (Reinsdorf) is just saying that to make it sound like he really would pay the LT.

Where does the LT factor in all this?

If they have enough cap room to sign people outright, when do they get into a tax situation? Just wondering.

That's the point. Once they sign the FAs and use up the cap space, they have no exceptions but the vet minimum to sign anyone.

EDIT: however, to extend Rose and Noah, he may well have to pay the LT. That's a couple years from now.
