    Awhile back I mentioned I wanted to get a basketball hoop for me and my son. Well just put it up yesterday! He is now on the first steps of getting a degree in Hoopsology! Watch out!

    No permit. If you drive around the neighborhood, you see a hoop on every 4th or 5th house though. I grew up with one just like it, and the curb doesn't really come into play. My son is only 9, so it will be a few years til serious ball gets played on this rim.

    I was running some of the same drills Monty did this past year with Dante' and Pendergraph with my son today. Working on rebounding and putbacks. Good to have a hoop again!

    I see you have that thing lowered about as far as it will go. What is that, about 7 feet? Is that so you are able to finally touch the rim?

    I loved my adjustable basketball goal. I'd always test my vertical. I was able to grab the rim (both hands) at 10'5" (I'm 6'2")

    And then my knees exploded

    Ya, I thought I had no hops back in the day, but they are gone now! Maybe we'll have the 1st annual HCP hoop tourney this summer!
