Brian Windhorst of The Plain Dealer reports that LeBron James may have been more impressed with the presentation from the Nets than he was with the presentation from the Knicks.

Both teams met with James on Thursday, the first official day of this year's NBA free agency.

"Here's what I hear from yesterday: LeBron interested in Nets pitch but not so much NY. NY trying at moment to secure Amare' to help cause," Windhorst wrote on his Twitter page.

Knicks asked him to take less, Nets have the blueprint to be a billionaire.

Less? How much can a team offer to LeBron?

LeBron wants 50 million per season, a house in every market, about 100 private planes, the league to be named after him, change the logo to his face and on and on.....

    FUCK YOU LEBRON

No, guys. I believe the offer was this: LeBron, take less and we can sign more player, or LeBron, take more, and we can sign less players. It's totally up to him.

But also the 'other' players have to accept less with that plan.

Not necessarily. We would have about $23M left in space to do whatever.

LMAO! That is a great sales pitch. God, the Knicks fucking blow. They can't even deliver a positive sales pitch. Who did the pitching for them?

Why is it weak? They gave him an option of max or less than the max to build a winner.

With that pitch, he'll go to Chicago, take max, and they still can offer max to either Wade or Bosh, plus they have Rose, Noah and Deng. ;)

The only other team that has room for at least two max players is Miami and this is without Wade. Assuming Miami re-signs Wade, no other team in the NBA has money to sign two max players.

If Bosh signs with Miami, Chicago might be shut out.

Because he's the king of Free Agency. You offer him all the money you can, don't mention him taking less, and you find ways to make things work around him. That is how the Lakers' got Gasol and Artest around Kobe. They found away to make it work. They didn't ask him to take a pay cut or anything like that. You don't do that to a free agent. Compared to the Nets reported pitch, the Knicks just closed themselves out of the LeBron sweepstakes.

LeBron said he wants to win first and foremost. If this is the case, then taking a pay cut is certainly possible. Further, LeBron can more than make up his lost money in New York. Either way, 'Bron can certainly take a max deal with the Knicks.

Didn't Artest take a pay cut?

LeBron could go to fucking shithole, Georgia or assland, Alaska and make a billion fucking dollars. The guy is going to get paid big money no matter where he goes.

The point isn't if he can make money. We already know he can. The point is he can make the most here.

There was actually a study that said LeBron could make $1-2B, and he can do this most likely only in N.Y.
