Sorry, I should have posted a link the first time: http://www.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entry/11838893/22947913
For the BAE? I guess I could see it, he lives here in the off-season anyway. But he's fallen off of a cliff in the last year (and the cliff was never all that high to begin with). http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/m/masonro01.html
All the Mason boys live here in the offseason, worship at the Masonic Temple, and drink moonshine out of Mason jars, despite our being well north of the Mason-Dixon line. barfo
Desmond married a chic from Central Catholic and lives here. Roger is a shit player who can occassionaly hit an open 3. Hope we don't pick up either!
I thought it was Desmond Mason when I first read the rumor. Got tired of hearing his name come up about 3 years ago from fans wanting to sign him just because he lives here, so was hoping it wasn't him.
It must be like the worst kept secret in the NBA that Rudy won't come back here next year, if agents with guards/wings for clients are seriously entertaining Portland as a destination.
If Roger Mason is the biggest FA that the Blazers are able to talk to, they might as well just close up shop. Jesus Christ. Maybe Chris Dooing is right. No FA wants to touch Portland with a thirty-foot pole. Not enough BLING, not enough Cristal-Fuel'ed nightclubs. As a lifetime Portlander/Oregonian, it's very very frustrating.
