    Bulls keep Noah

Bulls send Deng , Taj Gibson and future picks and TPE for around $14M

Hedo needs to waive his trade kicker to get out of Toronto and on to a contender in Chicago and if he is prepared to do this he then the salary differentials between he and Deng are around $1.6M

Throw in Taj and we have an extra $3M in room

    BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE !

We have enough for two max contracts for Wade and Bosh

    Noah
    Bosh
    Turkoglu
    Wade
    Rose

    bench

    Miller ( vet minimum )
    Skinner ( vet minimum )
    James Johnson
    Murray ( vet minimum )
    Pargo ( vet minimum )

We keep Asik on ice for a year and bring him in next year and shooters with MLE and draft depth

I actually like this one a lot. Too bad it doesn't work for LeBron (Torkoglu would be expensive bench player).

Outside of his stinker of a year last year in the 4 years he was in Orlando Hedo was a 16, 4 and 4 player shooting 38% from 3 and added versatility as a ball handler / creator on the forward line - something that we hope James Johnson might be in 3 to 4 years when Hedo's contract expires

    He's 31 - therefore not ancient

I still believe he's got game and with Noah and Asik at the back and Bosh as an adequate team help defender ( at least as he's proven on Team USA but not necessarily with the Raps .... I'd be inclined to take a chance on him if it meant Bosh and Wade and holding on to Noah with Rose

Additionally , whilst Deng is $1.5M more expensive - this is for cap calcs only

The term of their contracts run parallel with each other

The "cash" cost of Deng is possibly less due to chunks of deferred income built around agreed targets

And if he hits them then you wouldn't give a square root about paying $1.5M more per season because he would be clearly and upgrade and worth the coin

The way I see it is we downgrade at SF a bit to get the cap space we need to sign 2 MAX FAs. It could be LeBron and Bosh and we'd be in the same boat (Deng or Hedo on the bench). I'd be fine with paying that price to get LeBron and Bosh. It would't suck to badly to get LeBron and Wade, either ;-)

Something else to consider is that teams (like the Bulls) who get shut out of the big FAs (Wade, Bosh, LeBron, Boozer, Lee) can use their cap space to absorb contracts in trade. A contract like Deng's. Like suppose the Knicks get nobody else but Amare. They have cap space to burn and nobody worth spending it on. How about spending it on Deng or Hedo?

Hedo gives us the 3ball, too.

Anyhow, wouldn't we be in a better situation with Gordon instead of Deng, at least to have a shot at LeBron? He might be a small SG, but he can really score and he can really make the 3. And the Rose/Gordon back court was one of the top 5 in the NBA two seasons ago.

    Rose/Gordon/who cares
    LeBron/Bosh/Taj
    Noah/Asik/who cares

I love the Ben Gordon idea

If Deng is dealt for Pryz and Bayless ... I would send these guys to Detroit and ask for Ben back

And then for the $14M in room that we'd still have throw the money at Tony Allen , Kyle Korver , absorb Brandon Bass in a flick from the Magic , bring back Brad Miller and bring Omer Asik in

Bring Pargo back for the minimum

    Noah
    Gibson
    James
T.Allen ( hope he doesn't get shot back here maybe with his new contract he can arrange a pay off )
    Rose

    6th : Gordon

    bench

    Miller/Asik
    Bass
    James Johnson
    Korver
    Pargo

    Yeah I'm feeling that

I'm on board with that. I'm on board with pretty much anything that gets us Rose/Lebron/Bosh/Noah.
