I guess If you can't get Lebron then Isiah is a great back up plan. Long live the fall of the Knicks.
It was Donnie Walsh's way of crushing the idea that Kevin Pritchard was set to replace him as GM. I thought it quite funny, actually.
Walsh is old school. I get the feeling KP really rubbed those kind of guys the wrong way -- on the other hand he and the Daryl Morey's, Sam Presti's, etc. who are into deep statistical analysis and the "new wave" way of running the business, probably all got along pretty well.
So now other teams are trashing KP? I mean to say that Zeek gets an interview before KP is pretty nasty.
Amazing! The man single handedly ruined that franchise and they bring him back? He must have something on Walsch or the owners! He blackmailed (no pun intended) his way back in!
Step 1: No Lebron/Bosh/Wade Step 2: Bring back Isiah Thomas Step 3: Collect inflated contracts Step 4: Start decade over
Isiah is the only GM brave enough to trade Amare for Zbo and his expiring contract in December. It's part of the new plan to clear as much cap space as possible.
Zeke isn't getting an interview. Again it was Walsh's way of saying the GM position would not be opening up under him.
i guess a good sign that you've just got out of bed is when you read this topic and think of isiah rider first......
If anyone is going to offer Oden a max deal when he becomes an RFA, it'd be Zeke... can we re-up Oden now, please?
