Rudy was the future in 2008-09. He's a negative in 2009-10, even though he had a higher regular season and playoff PER than his 9x salary replacement, Wes(ley) Matthews. This community makes me laugh at times. Who will be the next scapegoat?
Did you watch the playoffs? Seriously. Rudy was horrible, horrible, horrible defensively. Defense doesn't compute into PER. Rudy had one good game where he finally found his shot - a game that was long out of reach. Stat padding during garbage time is not helpful PER.
Rudy was horrible, Mathews was merely bad. I don't know if a guy who plays just poorly is worth 9 times what a guy who played terrible is worth.
good grief... spanish tabloid known for BS + NY rumor mill = nothing I'm going to hang my hat on, especially since there is no pressing need to know in the middle of the summer others can believe whatever they want based on whatever evidence they see fit. They can call players and management whatever clever names they want... so what? Just don't get upset others voice that they'd like confirmation from something other then a joke of a source STOMP
