Lakers center Andrew Bynum underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Wednesday and is expected to be ready for the regular season.
Although Bynum had said his recovery time was expected to be short, the Lakers said in a news release Wednesday that Bynum will be available “on a limited basis” when training camp opens Sept. 25. Los Angeles is opening training camp earlier than usual to get ready for exhibition games in Barcelona and London. The Lakers expect Bynum to be fully recovered before the regular season begins. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=Ap2N3XigR2EQrpLgd30_cwzTjdIF?slug=ap-lakers-bynumsurgery I'm glad they are not rushing him back.
Good deal. Hopefully he can actually have a full, healthy season for the first time since his second year.
Good ! We're gonna need the big fella this season if we are to beat Boston, Miami, Orlando, or Chicago in the Finals.
I don't know about you guys, but I have a feeling he'll miss only a couple of games and nothing serious will happen to him!
Amazingly talented, just needs to stay on the court. If he could stay on the court for 30 minutes a game at his peak, he'd make the Finals pretty tough.
