Bellator has accidentally put together a fight that will appeal to the mainstream. This could be their biggest fight so far. Roger "White Knight of the Streets" Huerta is a late replacement to face ranked lightweight Eddie Alvarez on October 21st (Bellator FC 33). Pat Curran was tapped to challenge Alvarez for the BFC Lightweight title but was forced to withdraw due to injury. Huerta lost to Curran at BFC 17 while Alvarez is on a five-fight winning streak.
I don't like seeing that, unless it's an anderson silva/bj penn style fighting out of your weight class thing I don't like champs not defending their belts. Any particular reason why it's a non title fight?
