The way I look at it is this, the organization under Cho has a completely different approach to handling injuries and timetables than it did under KP. If this was Pritchard, we'd be getting a steady stream of status updates based on a healthy diet of sunshine pumping and marketing. We may not like the uncertainty, but I prefer this tack.
Show me where it says that. Nowhere does it it say he's behind schedule. The article says a whole lot of nothing.
Luckily it's only Oden's 3rd season, and the Blazers don't have to make a decision on him this summer. </wut>
Well actually, he kind of contradicted himself already on Oden. Everything was looking good back in July according to him, and now he is pulling back from the expectations that he and Nate helped build with their comments at the time. But, he's learning!
Hopefully, what he is learning is that he needs to take a hard look at the Portland medical/training staff. When the Suns can keep their old coots healthy, and the Blazers can't keep their young guys on the court, that might give some people pause.
