I've officially decided who I want to win this game. I want Boise St. That way Oregon St can knock them off and the Beavs will be the big story!

I fucking hate Boise State. They play 1 or 2 decent opponents a year, and then a bunch of scrubs and everyone thinks they should play for a title. I am pretty sure they play at least 2 high school girls jv volleyball teams this year. I would give them an ounce of respect if they played ANY BCS teams schedule. It's much different going week in and week out, than getting up for 1 game a year, and having all summer to prepare for it.

Well they can only play who is in their conference so I don't blame them. That's partially why they're moving to the MWC. I'm sure they would love to be in a BCS conference if one would let them in.

So them scheduling Wyoming and Toledo is something they HAD to do? And I don't blame them, I just don't think they have any business playing for a title.

They also scheduled Va Tech and OSU. I definitely think they should play for the title if they go undefeated and only one BCS team is undefeated.

A couple of years ago BSU's AD offered any top-tier BCS school a 2 for 1 contract (two games at their stadium, one on the smurf-turf), and none bit. None of them wanted any part of Boise State. So how can you blame Boise State for not playing a BCS schedule when none of the top BCS teams will play them outside of a bowl game?

OSU can easily start the season with 2 losses before conference play. Typical shitty start to the season by a Mike Riley coached football team.

I wonder if there will be any other team in the top 10 at the end of the year who has played only 1 team ranked in the top 25? BSU will play only 1 since OSU lost. And they got to prepare for that team all summer. It's a joke that some people think this team could do this in a real conference. Could they play a schedule like Washinton's and go undefeated? No!! @ USC, @ UO, @ CAL, @ BYU and then for good measure play Nebraska and Syracuse as well.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
If major BCS teams won't play them, then they should play the hardest schedule they can create and the BCS system should call it good. It has a strength of schedule component. It isn't remotely fair for top programs to say "We won't give you the opportunity to play against us, or be in our conference, and by the way, your weak strength of schedule means you're disqualified from national title contention."

So, honestly, I don't care whether they could do this against a top conference or not. Let them win a championship this way and then, if the SEC, PAC 10 and Big 10 powers don't like it, they can actually play them in the regular season and see what happens.

Again......Wyoming and Toledo. No one can convince me there weren't better opponents out there for them to play. Washington got Nebraska and Syracuse. Oregon got Tennessee. If you don't have the conference schedule to be taken seriously, then you have to schedule better than Wyoming and Toledo. If Oregon runs the table, which I don't think they will, and BSU runs it, which should be no problem, then some people are already saying that Oregon won't go because of there strength of schedule, but BSU will? How the fuck does that make any sense?
