What are the pros and cons of the new one. Are you guys having the dropped call problems I read about?
I just got mine Thursday. So far I haven't had any problems with dropped calls, but obviously I haven't had it long. Love it so far.
Great device on the whole; good app library, great display, easy to use. When you buy one, do it before the 30th of September, and go to apple.com to get a free case. It'll take care of any antenna issue you might have (look up "iphone death grip"). It's really not an issue in Portland, but out in the ghetto where you live, it could be the difference between life and death!
I'm getting mine next wednesday. One for me and the Mrs. Check out this case I'm getting for it! http://www.yankodesign.com/2010/08/10/hannibal-lecters-iphone-4/
I got one recently, and yeah, I'll echo everyone else: it's pretty sweet. Switched from Sprint and am saving about $15 a month too
The Mrs and I both got one. No dropped call problems, just signed up for the free case. I'm not much for cameras, but the Mrs. is and says it's pretty flipping amazing, especially the multimedia sharing.
I'm excited to use the facetime feature to be able to talk to wife and kids when I'm on the road. Tried the Skype thing and her computer never really worked well with it.
Facetime is great. You both must have iPhone 4s and you both must have a Wifi connection during the call. It's pretty great. My brother and his family called me on my birthday. Was great to see them all. Other pros about the iPhone 4: HD camera, flash for the camera, but outside of those, it's pretty much the iPhone 3GS with worse reception. Once you get the free case, though, it's fine. I recommend it.
The HD camera is ridiculous. One of my friends is a huge pot head and he takes pictures of all the different types of weed he gets with it and the quality is incredible. It sounds weird but you can see every little detail of it. lol
Uh, no. There's a flaw in the iPhone 4 where if you touch it near the antenna, it drops calls. That's why Apple is giving away free rubber band/cases for them; with the case on, you can't touch the metal near the antenna.
