He's cool with sticking with a very talented roster, but would like to improve it if the opportunity came along. A little too rational and level-headed for my liking. We need trades, I hear. Not necessarily to improve the team, just to prove that the GM has balls.
With the health concerns of Oden and Przybilla, coupled with the age of Camby, I'd sure like to see Cho pick up a better backup PF. Based upon his summer league play, I'm not real comfortable with Pendergraph at that position.
I wouldn't be adverse to having another good big man, but what would you be willing to pay for a good big man who gets to be the backup only when and if someone is hurt? So a backup backup. With the possibility of Przybilla returning with some value (may not be what he used to be) and with Cunningham who can also man the position, I'm not too worried about what amounts to a pretty small role (a role that will likely be filled by Camby when everyone's healthy).
Dude is only saying what I have said all summer long. Cho, stop stealing my copywright protected postings without attribution. Hack.
A backup/backup PF would be nice, but not worth giving up a whole lot. A star PG would be great and would be worth giving up quite a bit, but there are only a few PG's in the league who qualify and are either not on the table or would cost this team an astronomical fee. So in the meantime, look for something of value for Rudy and make low-ball offers that will be turned down 99% of the time, hoping for the 1%. And if the season starts as is, I think the Blazers will be great.
This is really funny. You should continue posting insightful comments about Cho at every opportunity. It really helps the situation and makes you look really intelligent.
Interesting because that was going to be my last Cho post ever on this forum. But since "blazerboy30" likes them so much, I guess I'll just have to continue. Wouldn't want to deprive him of my insightful comments. That goes for the rest of you
Hooray! Mo Cho po fro Ro To! (dropping excess consonants from the ends of words makes life more fun!)
