Both forward positions? I think he's pretty much a PF, but maybe can play some C in a small ball lineup.
In his own way, Taj is a pretty remarkable player. He's one of the most quietly good players in the NBA. Really good at just making himself useful, even if no one notices him. He's become one of my favorites. I'm betting he'll see the court quite a bit this year, even with Carlos around.
I think the toss in about SF is because Taj was our best player at defending James in the playoffs. There were reasons for that -- I guess they played a lot against each other two summers ago. I don't see Taj's offensive game being conducive a SF either.
Shit I'm over Taj Gibson. Everyone needs to take their head outta their ass. He's an average player that everyone was expecting to fail and he had an above average campaign and projects to have a career as an average workhorse 3rd big. Whoopty fuckin doo Yet we're all doing the Porky Pig clap and talking him up because of his low key lunch pail ways and for the fact that he surpassed all expectations when there were none ...and loaded him up with a whole bunch of new expectations - and gee wiz and gosh , we've got geniuses musing about the possibility of his value being greater than Noah's ( because Noah is about to be paid what he's worth ) and playing with themselves about holding him out as a principal trading piece with ballast ( Deng ) for a stud Hello ! McFly !
