    He only recently registered and his post count here is low but the administrators and I know him well. He's been a long time stabilizing presence at basketballboards/basketballforum. He has an even keel, a good head on his shoulders and a knack for clearing through an overabundance of gloom and doom like lemon juice cutting through grease.

    He has our full support and our utmost confidence.

    Is there an overabundance of gloom and doom here? I haven't noticed

    But anyway, Good Hope is one of my all time favorite Bulls posters, so I'm glad you've decided to help out here!

    Crickets....

    As I told Mr. B., I'm an apprentice moderator. To my mind, it just means I'm ready to work with you all in creating a good environment for Bulls and basketball discussion. It seems that bygones have become bygones, and maybe everybody is ready to make it work. And of course, it helps that we have a team with a legit star and real prospects, to which even K4E agrees!

    I'm not a high post count guy anywhere, as those who know me know. I hope to make the posts I do make count. Thanks, and here's to the creation of an even better Bulls board than in the heyday of BBB! And thanks to TomBoerwinkle#1 for getting this long time bystander up and into the fray.

    And if I have wronged anybody in the past, here and now I promise to pay it back 4 times the amount :-)

    The Bulls really aren't a terrible team any more. They were a pretty decent, albeit young team that had a couple of setbacks and now I think they are a pretty damn good team that barring injuries is going to be in the mix when the second season starts and I think it would be difficult to credibly argue otherwise.

    I really like your optimism. I'm still being cautious though. We've had a lot of seasons where the entire team looked like they were ready to take a step forward; and instead young developing players for whatever reason got worse. That could happen with Noah, or Deng, or Rose, or Gibson, etc. Odds are it's probably going to happen to more than one of them.
