    The old haunting grounds still exist.

    Used to be known as basketballforum.net

    I should say that is where I met most of these guys, starting from 2002, I think.

    A lot of the others knew them from realgm before that.

    I didn't like realgm when I checked it out, but it is much better now, and super busy, but just not my cup of tea.

    I actually got my start from the Tribune's old message board. Phill and Shinky and Ace were some of the regulars there.

    TomBoerwinkle suggested I come over and see if I couldn't be part of building up a board to rival the old bbf. Not like I have any experience in doing so. But I did enjoy that forum and would like to see that kind of community restored. I figured its about time I did my share, I suppose.

    FJ. Good to see you. I'm doin' alright. Feelin' a little like boy David trying on king Saul's armor before fighting Goliath. Not sure it fits. But, hey, if you stick around, it might just be worth it :-)

    Wait, the Blazers fans dominate this board? Is this some alternate reality I've entered into? I thought Chicago fans dominated every bball site on the net? Just goes to show ya what I know.

    Oddly enough one of the biggest growth spurts JBB got was after I banned about 8 basketballboards members for following a kid around and harassing the heck out of him one 4th of July weekend.

    I never posted on JBB but I corresponded with the owner, Mel, every once and a while and I always found him to be a cool dude.
