I put ketchup on them sometimes for a little added flavor. Or I mix them in with my hashbrowns like a little goulash and smother them with ketchup.

leave the yolk in there. Or does that make it worse?

consuming a lot of eggs with the yolk is supposedly bad for cholesterol, but new studies have researchers changing their ideas on that.

Good, because I eat a lot of eggs!

I usually scramble and put them in a tortilla with a little cheese. tapatio for hot sauce.

Little secret for you young guys out there. Heat the tortilla up in a frying pan before using it. Put the heat on medium and heat up both sides.

Better, I don't like the consistency of egg whites, it's not the taste.

    Monday - Arms/Abs
    Wednesday - Back/Chest
    Friday - Legs

Is that a good three-day split?

What's all this nonsense about protein shakes? I've been working out for years, and I take nothing before or after my workouts, except for a glass of water. And I'm a vegetarian!

So I've been doing the protein shake 2X daily, with one immediately after I work out. I must say, I'm much less sore than after the 1st week. +rep for all the tips!

I've extended my workout from 20 minutes to close to 50 minutes now. I'm still pathetic but I'm improving.

Also, do you guys use the shakes as a meal replacement? Meaning, I'm drinking a shake in between breakfast/lunch & then one after dinner. So I'm ingesting food/drink every 3 hours or so. Or should I still be snacking as well?

Had a revelation in the gym last week: I've been avoiding mirrors for a long time! I hate looking at myself & mirrors are everywhere in the gym. It's great motivation!

I think it depends on the protein shake you are using, and how many calories you are targeting for the day. If you are using something like Muscle Milk (which has a lot of calories), and also adding some calories with milk or fruit in the shake, then you probably can use that as a snack replacement (still eating your full meals as well).

If you are using just a protein powder in milk, that isn't very many calories and you should probably be snacking as well.

This is assuming you are trying to add mass, and not hitting the gym to lose weight.

Well, with the serving size I'm doing (1.5 scoops) I'm getting close to 300 calories when combined with milk. I guess that answers my question. Thanks!

I would do abs just about every day. Your arms workout may hold back your Back/chest workout if they're too sore.

Maybe Back/Biceps Monday & Chest/Triceps on Wednesday and mix in an ab workout each day in between sets.
