You can't ignore (properly) anyone moderator or above, otherwise my total would be about three people higher than it is now.

 

I don't ignore anyone electronically, but there are a few that I often skip over.

there have been a few of those over the years who've proven to not be worth my time, but I'm down to just one ignore clown as the others have quit our community or been banned... as soon as I see their name/avatar, I just move on to the next post. Usually I've let the poster know I won't be reading or responding to them anymore but that hasn't seemed to deter them from continuing to respond to me. I guess some are really really desperate for conversation

Nah, I just think that you're a blowhard who thinks that your opinions are somehow fact, and then you get angry when someone challenges your opinion. Oh, and that you send me silly PMs telling me that you're ignoring me, yet how you consider it a "Badge of Honor".

Anyhow, carry on, and I'll keep challenging your opinions that I find lacking in merit. You'll keep ignoring them, because you have no factual basis to reply with when I see another of your silly opinions.

I don't use the ignore feature. I'm capable of ignoring people the old fashioned way, if I feel like it, on a post-by-post basis, without electronic assistance. I confess I finally broke down and put someone on ignore last year, but that person was apparently banned and (ahem) no longer posts here.

You pretty much knew that a thread about ignoring posters was going to blow up, so I wanted to be the grenade.

More good stuff! FWIW, I don't remember whatever quote of his I had in my signature, but it clearly didn't affect STOMP.

 

I don't remember what the sig that quoted STOMP said, but I took it down after he "contacted" me. This was my thanks.

Considering how obvious it was to me that your post in this thread was about me, wouldn't you be the one who resurrected this? It made me take a peek back to our PM "exchange", which is solid fucking gold, I must say.

 

You have to admit, that is a classic PM chain, though.
