Why is this the first time I have heard of this? http://www.ocregister.com/sports/finger-267943-bryant-index.html
3 times in 7 years! DAMN! And the fact that a surgery won't help his finger is crazy! The guy is a warrior!
My head hurts reading about his finger! Anyone remember the Alfred Hitchcock show episode in which the guy needs money badly, and the rich guy offers him $100,000 (that's a million today) if he'll let him chop off his finger? So the whole show is about the guy with this hard decison to make? He goes around asking his friends and relatives for advice. Nobody remembers? Hokay.
Didn't Quinten Tarantino turn that into a segment of a movie he did with a bunch of other directors? It was a long, single shot with QT talking really fast and trying to scam the main character into letting QT's friend chop off his pinky.
I love Tarantino flicks, but Four Rooms was just too weird. Haha. Wait... What about Kobe's knee? Finger? Who gives a shit? I hope he falls apart one appendage at a time.
How can I ever forget that horrible but good program. Back in the early 60s we boys were real men. Nowadays you got it easy. All you have to do is kill a lot of people in a cartoonish video game. Too easy. By age 13 we didn't admit it if we ever watched cartoons anymore. That was for the little kids. How about the Alfred Hitchcock show in which the farmer kills his bitchy wife and disposes of the body in a big machine in the barn which grinds animals into fertilizer or animal food or something? The program closes with him feeding the chickens and the livestock a tasty-looking powder. Or the show in which the restaurant customers enthusiastically praise the quality of the meat, talking about its texture, color, grain, fat, etc. and wondering what happened to a member of their group from the last time they were there? The show closes with the process repeating next time they are there.
