    Everybody should grow a Fro like Varejo. That Fro helps him draw more offensive fouls than Ginobili's nose does.

    So we heard reports (from the training staff) that LaMarcus put on 20 lbs of muscle without losing a step. LaMarcus now says he felt too heavy and wants to play lighter.

    I seem to recall at least one report that Miller was working out like a beast for a change during the off season and was going to come into camp with a renewed purpose.

    So how about it Mr. HCP? How does Miller look?

    My guess is it was just announcers blowing sunshine up fans collective asses. Miller doesn't look any different. Lamarcus doesn't look any different.

    My guess is... Dre is Dre. I highly doubt he would change everything about his off-season approach after 11 years in the NBA.

    ...As he did at the end of last season or the beginning of last season? He doesn't look that pudgy in that picture.

    Other question: Has Nate abandonned the fitness test Miller refused to run, and then disrespected in the press, last year?

    Mike: "Elliot, rumors are that you have a 48" vertical. Is that true?"
    EW: "Well, yeah, I didn't get it measured at the combine, but I've had it measured, you know, at the PF and stuff. I can jump pretty high. Whether it's 42" or 100", I'm trying to dunk on people".
    MB on Courtside tonight: "Elliot Williams has put on 20lbs of muscle from summer league and still maintains a 100" vertical! He's looking great to start the season!"

    We do know that Miller was playing pickup with EW and Pendergraph in LA over the Summer, and I'm pretty sure Summer-pickup-with-teammates is new for him. He certainly doesn't look pudgy in that photo.
