The MOH Beta is up on Steam for a few days.
I'll probably skip the new Call of Duty and get this instead. I heard you have to pay for COD online play :tsktsk:

I'll be curious to read the reviews of MOH when its out. My kids are excited for Black Ops, they already pre ordererd it. I personally enjoy playing the campaigns in these games much more than the online play. One thing that would be cool is if MOH or Black Ops allows multi player online like Halo does.

I heard there would be a charge for Black Ops to play online. It that wrong?

EDIT - Just found this: ‘No such plan exists for this or any other Call of Duty (including the upcoming Black Ops)’. This was backed up by Treyarch too, as Josh Olin also had a word to say on the matter:

“No, you will not have to ‘Pay to Play’ Call of Duty: Black Ops multi player either. Rumor -> Squashed.”

Just in case people are confused, the CoD Beta is open (therefore, free).

COD= Call of Duty. Beta Testing. Some people get to try the game out to see what glitches they need to work out.
