... in LA to go 6-0. I mean, I think it's late enough in the pre-season to presume these guys are for real.....and might even be the Blazers biggest challenge in the WC................below the L*kers.
I watched most the game. Heyward looked good. They have him playing similar to Rip Hamilton, coming off screens to hit mid range jumpers.
Has he really played well? I heard that he has not impressed. Memphis is 6-0 and Minn is 5-1. Should we be worried about them too. I doubt Hayward will score 26 for the Jazz in the reg season. I don't know it just seems that some teams care about pre-season and some don't. Phoenix is 1-5
Oh I agree they were lucky to get him since Minnesota wanted to dump his salary. I just thought you were implying that their preseason success so far was due to him. And i was under the impression he still was not up to speed.
Hahaha... Yeah. I picked up my Ricky Whittle jersey back in like 1993 because I KNEW that I would want to be a fan of the Ducks when they finally reached #1 in the polls in 2010.
You should aim this question directly at ABM because he's the only one who is impressed by their record apparently
I'll tell ya one thing.....I'm certainly impressed with the way the Jazz play NBA basketball. That said, I heard last week where Nate was mightily PO'd that the Blazers were only 1-3 in preseason. Essentially said, "We've GOT to get this game against the Warriors." Nah, I know it's all just preseason. I just figured the Jazz would be taking a step down this year due to the losses of Boozer and maybe even Korver. I could be very wrong on that assessment, though.
I'm impressed by it. I'm also impressed by the fact that Utah apparently takes these games seriously, and their players don't loaf through the preseason.
And when Utah needs a stop, which one of Utah's front line players is going to step up and make a defensive play?
