I think you need to watch Lee a little bit more. He has plenty of midrange game. Look at his shot chart.

It's like I said, people just THINK Aldridge is a good defender because he's long and athletic. He's really not that good. I really like Lee's game. I wish we had snagged him.

He's really starting to remind me of how Shareef Abdur-Rahim was for the Blazers. Which is 'meh' we certainly could use an upgrade at PF.

I think we need to get off the "he doesnt play in the post" crap. This isnt the 80's, PF's don't always play in the post all the time.

Sure, they don't play in the post all the time, but it would be nice if they played in the post sometimes :devilwink:

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Abdur-Rahim was a really good player in his prime. Portland got the declining version. In his prime, SAR was a legit All-Star caliber player, but not a superstar.

Aldridge hasn't reached that level, and I'm starting to sour on his potential. He's a good, solid player...but his upside is dwindling, IMO. I would trade him happily as part of a larger deal to get a star, but I think he stopped being a good trade asset when he signed his new deal.

    +1

I was actually really happy when we got SAR but he just never really lived up to his usual numbers, and trying to play him WITH Zach wasn't a good idea.

Abdur-Rahim seemed like he was unhappy in Portland.

What are you talking about.... Sergio could totally drop 30+ points and 30+ boards in a game.

Sergo could drop 30 assists and 30 turnovers in a game. So the similarities remain eerie.

30 turnovers would be an accomplishment.

Dude averages almost 15 rebounds per game, in LESS than 30 minutes a game.
