Serious question> Would they be the only ones you cared about if we were 0-3, but still ranked high in the power rankings because we played better teams?

I would. Of course I take the long view of an 82 game season, so 0-3 wouldn't matter much to me.

My larger point is I don't really care what others have to say about us; I care about the scoreboard.

Looking at the NBA.com rankings, based on last season + this season (taking into account injuries then and now) I don't see why OKC or Dallas should be ahead of the Blazers... so thats 5th today. Without a healthy Greg I see them a notch below the 4 teams above, but several will be leapfrogged if GO hits his stride

I don't think we are playin that well at all and we are still 3-0. We've been able to put it together in the 4th which is good, but my take is that we can play a LOT better for 4 quarters, and will need to of course against better teams. I see the glass half full vs half empty, some here always take the negative side.

I'm sure I'm seeing this through rose colored glasses but in the first 3 games the Blazers just seem to be pacing themselves very well. Sure they could play better in the first 3 quarters but they seem to be reserving energy by keeping it close and then taking it up a notch in the 4th. They're kind of tiring teams out and then finishing them off. I have felt like they were in control of all three games. Tonight we'll get a better idea of where they are. The Bulls are very good and the Blazers will have to work harder to keep up with them.
