OT: According to Charlie Villanueva, KG is a classless punk!

Has this really turned into a cancer vs. fat debate?

 

As If I really needed another reason to wish harm on KG.

 

I heard this story on the radio this morning and all I could think about was the christmas morning type thread that was likely going on here.

Well said. I can't believe a few of you don't get it.

 

I love how so many people just automatically believe Charlie V is telling the truth.

I understand why you guys do, because you all hated him already.

 

KG has been a shit talking bitch for years. Of course I'm going to believe Charlie V. I've seen KG in action too many times, I'm talking actually being at the games live and listening to him. He's a piece of shit. It didn't take this run in with Charlie V for me to decide this.

Trash talk spilled over to the Twitterverse after Tuesday night's Celtics-Pistons game, when Detroit's Charlie Villanueva said that Kevin Garnett called him a "cancer patient" while the two were playing.
After the sports world debated whether Garnett had crossed the line for most of the day on Wednesday, the veteran released a statement late in the afternoon that said there was a miscommunication.
"I am aware there was a major miscommunication regarding something I said on the court [Tuesday] night," Garnett said. "My comment to Charlie Villanueva was in fact, 'You are cancerous to your team and our league.' I would never be insensitive to the brave struggle that cancer patients endure. I have lost loved ones to this deadly disease and have a family member currently undergoing treatment.
"I would never say anything that distasteful. The game of life is far bigger than the game of basketball."

 

Great. "I did not say you have it, I just said you are like it".

 

Yes, if true, Garnett is the first to ever use the term "cancer" in that way.

Somebody like Terrell Owens has never been called a cancer by anybody.

 

Does anyone want to take issue with the common use of a player being called a team cancer?

Thrilla, you should just stop while your ahead. KG has been treating LA like shit since his rookie year. Purposely elbowing him him, talking shit and basically bullying him. He is not loved around here regardless of how this turns out.

To be honest with you, I find the idea that KG used "cancerous to the league" during a game to be very iffy. Maybe he wears plaid suits and puffs a pipe during the games too, as if he was a character in a P.G. Wodehouse book.

This is not exactly a guy that went to Bayless during a game and discussed canines and their behavior during the game... He went on 4 and barked.

Anyway you slice it, this dude has not exactly covered himself in glory when it comes to his behavior on the court.

Can you just see the episide: CV and KG fight for a rebound (or whatever) and KG goes to him "My good man, puff, puff, I find your conduct detrimental to the sport, cancerous to the league, wink wink. Carry on, carry on".

 

Come on. Tell me you would not love it if LA was punking Blake Griffin or Batum punking Durant.

 

Yeah, i don't think KG was repeating exactly what he said, just summarizing it. It was probably more like "you f*cking suck you bitch. everywhere you f*cking go, you f*cking lose. you're a motherf*cking cancer. to your motherf*cking team and to the whole motherf*cking league n**ga!" Having heard KG on the court in person, that's what it was most likely like, if he's not lying.

 

I dunno. Garnett has always been a high-brow guy with his trash talking. Who could forget his intellectual monolouge about dog barking directed at Bayless while crawling on all fours?

 

Ya, but there is a way to talk shit and a way to talk shit. Growing up on the court, I could talk smack with the best of 'em, but what he said is over the line!
