I grew up a couple houses away from Neil. Used to date his daughter and was great friends with his son. When all that stuff came out about him it totally shocked my parents and myself. He was a great guy!
Great guy! Great family! He's bangin' the babysitter and she's bangin' their state police chauffeur. Sadly he helped cover the murder of the guy he brought in to clean up the prisons. But besides from that, great guy!
WOW! I missed all this! Really? I remember hearing about the babysitter and everybody in our neighborhood was trying to figure out who it was. But what was that other stuff. I would love to read about that, Gimme' a link!
He wasn't the Gov yet. He was the Mayor and then a bigwig at NIKE. That's how I was able to rock the Air Jordan 1's 6 months before everybody else son! Uncle Neil hooked a brother up!
Uncle Neil was giving you some "hush-hush" presents? There's only 1 pair of Jordan's I ever really felt that I absolutely had to have. That was the Patend Leather Air Jordan XI in the original black and white color as seen on Space Jam. Then I got the Air Jordan III when they re-released them like 5 years back. Outside of those two, I could go without Jordans.
I'm just the same! Love the 1's, II's and III's . The only other good ones were the above XI's. See ZAGS I knew there was a reason I liked you! You know who had all the old school Jordan's............ Juwan Howard! He was always giving me props for my collection.
Juwan always kept his pimp hand strong. I wanna get the Lil Penny's that they re-released last year. I had the black one's back when I was in like 5th grade. The only color I would get is black. I remember I fucked those shoes up during recess like 2 weeks after I begged my mom to get them for me. They were going like hot cakes at most places and I think I finally found them in my size at FootAction at Lloyd. I'm thinking about getting them again.
Before Bernie Giusto became sheriff of Multnomah county he was a state police office who was assigned to be the chauffeur for then Gov. Goldschmidt. During that time he had an affair with Neil's wife, Margie Goldschmidt. You can read about it from multiple sources here - http://www.google.com/#hl=en&expIds...idt Oregon&gs_rfai=&pbx=1&fp=28f0842bd6cb1d18 Also during Goldschmidt's term of governor the head of the prisons was murdered in Salem. It was and is a long, complicated and famous murder case that resulted in which many believe to be a innocent person was sent to prison. You can read about it from many sources here - http://www.google.com/#num=10&hl=en...el Francke murder&spell=1&fp=28f0842bd6cb1d18 A little trivia, Angela Jolies' first movie role was the story of this murder.
Remember Pro Wrestler Billy Jack Haynes? Even he claims to be involved, http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=161481471147&topic=10791 Crazy story, tripy dude, interesting read, lol.
The case of the head of prisons was aired on 'Unsolved Mysteries' a few years back. That was definitely an inside job. I never knew the story about Bernie Gusto banging his wife though. There was some crazy shit going on within the Oregon politics back then. Supposedly there was a lot of curruption in the jail system as well back then. Nuts.
Weird. Last I heard Haynes owned a restaurant on Foster Rd. I looked into it, he does. He also got arrested for drug smuggling.
