    ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ . . .

It's a first!! Brandon Roy proved that it's possible to play an entire game in your sleep! If the rules allowed it, he would have actually reclined on a gurney and the other players would have just pushed him up and down the court tonight.

    ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ . . .

Anyone know why my browser sometimes does a "not responding" thing? Where it turns the screen white, and then after a second settles down and returns to normal?

Seriously. I mean remember when Starks shot 2 for 18 or something like that in Game 7 of the Finals? It was horrific but AT LEAST HE WAS TRYING. Roy took the night off.

Brandon did not play well at all... but I still believe in the guy that he'll turn it around -- whether that means getting healthier or just getting mentally right again. He wasn't even looking to score or get off a shot.

I think there's something going on with Brandon behind the scenes. He has looked like he hasn't been giving 100%. I've heard from other posters that he's not happy playing with Miller, so perhaps this is his way of demonstrating it to the coaching staff.

Maybe he had a lot of money on the game . . . and was betting on the Lakers.

All I know is, every player on the Laker bench gave more effort tonight than Roy did. Andre Miller played his heart out, but Roy couldn't have cared less. It was really amazing to watch.

Have to agree. Something is definitely wrong with Roy. Whether it is health, mental space, or willingness to play with Miller something is very wrong.

Whatever the problem is, it's high time the coaching staff did something about it. If he's not healthy enough to play, take him off the court until he is. If he has a problem with Miller, sit them down in a room together with an experienced mediator. If he doesn't like the offense we run, either persuade him to buy in, change it or bench him. I just think this situation is dragging on too long to ignore.

I'll tell you something else that has to change: the broadcasting team of Barrett and Rice. Those guys are the biggest homers in the world. Just once (ONCE!) I want to hear them tell the truth about Roy's play, instead of sugar-coating everything.

They know who signs their checks. One of the benefits of League Pass is you get to hear the opponents' broadcast teams. Ours is oe of the worst in terms of homerism. I think it shows that the Blazers think very little of we fans that we can't handle objective analysis. Hell, they ran Snapper out of town for it.

Thanks; after reading some of your sharp retorts tonight I was worried that you might be cracking on me and I'm not very good at sharp, witty responses.

I've had this nagging feeling for several games that Roy may be dogging it to make a point. I hope it isn't true, but if he is, the only point he'd be making is that he's a bitch who should be fired -- if that were possible. I hope that's not it and I'm certainly not assuming it is. But one has to wonder considering all that's been said and speculated in the past.

I went to the Raptors game and Roy had his leg wrapped in the first half, but not the second. If he is too injured to contribute, it would be nice to take him off the court. But Rudy has been out, and so far Matthews SUCKS more often than not. That leaves us with few viable options.

I dunno. I'm just a mere fan. All I can do is watch the games and hope for the best.

I have said that, so according to some that can't be true.

People have been wanting to blame it on his injuries but if that were the case why would he have asked for the ball a lot more before the season started? Not only that, he didn't seem happy about the offense in the preseason either, waiting for the regular season so the team will run more of it's "regular" stuff. Without watching preseason it's hard to see if there's a difference.

I think he's making a point here. Honestly this is the same storyline as last season until Oden went down. Roy. Is. Not. Happy.
