OK, needed a win like that.

Second units tend to show up on home games and look at all the rest Roy got. I think the second unit has a tougher time on the road and the starters will have to win most of those games.

I know Aldridge has his critics, but think about him 3-4 years ago. He is bulking up and developing his game.

On the bench Roy is sitting on some big cushion. Reminds me of Phil Jackson. Jackson has back problems . . . Roy must have back problems. :D

Was the game a sell out?

You're right, the midrange shot is tough though, because so few defenses are keyed to stop it; they're mostly trained to closeout on the three point line and collapse into the lane if somebody catches the ball just above the foul line or in the mid post and concede what is basically the worst shot in basketball (in terms of value and hit rate).

He would however be well served to develop some kind of dribble-drive element to his game or just go ahead and extend his range another 3 or 4 feet and take the three (if he can).

Rudy is seriously the biggest x-factor on the team. He can come in and make one play and the crowd gets fired up so fast it's amazing.

Oh I know... that's really the case on all levels of basketball. The mid-range game is really a forgotten skill. Whenever I play pickup ball, my game is centered almost entirely on midrange jumpers, mostly from the baseline, and people almost never defend it. It seems like people either want to drive the ball or hoist threes, and that's really not all that different on the pro level.

What a gorgeous pass by Rudy on that pick and roll.

Thank God we played a shitty team like Detroit. Nothing makes things look better than playing a crappy team. That being said, I loved the 27 fast break points.

When Rudy wants to be, he can be a great distributor. He has amazing vision. We saw it a number of times during his rookie season. I'm wonder what's changed between now and last year, but whatever it is, he's playing much better. Hopefully it lasts.

I can't think of her name ... "Katie something" from one of the local news stations. She and Kenny Vance hosted the original MSP for about a month and then they canned her no talent ass.

Honestly? I think it's playing with a point guard like Armon who drives looking to pass and wings like Batum and Matthews who will pass the ball and actually cut off of screens on the second unit. Not having a bum back probably helps a little bit too.

He's learning how to be brief with our small town media.

I liked when he said, "there is no percentage" when asked about how well he feels. He knows either way it was a, "damned if you do, damned if you don't," type question.

.....and holy shit, Jay Allen is looking more and more like Vance and Wheeler everyday!

Man, the Pistons might be the most selfish team in the league. Everything they did was about holding the ball and trying to go one-on-five and they just don't have the kind of talent to do that.

Katie Brown has ALWAYS been like that. She's the worst journalist in the area. Bar none. She has no business being in the locker room, and it has nothing to do with her being a woman. She's just terrible. She asks dumb questions. She gives women reporters a bad name.

I always referred her as seude face when describing her to people at the RG. Her face has more peach fuzz than my ass cheeks.

Can you be more quantitative? How much peach fuzz does your ass have, and how much does her face have? Please express your answer in hairs per square centimeter.
