I was referring specifically to today when he got abused by Andrea Bargnani. Perhaps you missed the game. Bargnani went for 29 points, the Celtics lost to the lowly Rapors, Shaq shot 2 - 8 from the field and fouled out in less than 20 minutes. How is that not embarrassing for one of the 50 greatst players of all time? It was like watching Willie Mays stumble around the outfield in a Mets uniform. And while you may claim his numbers aren' bad, they are the worst of his career. He's a shell of his former self and only playing for the money and the hope of riding the coat tails of Garnett, Pierce, Allen and Rondo to another title (just like he tried to ride LeBron's coat talis last year - how'd that work out?) so he can retire with the same number of rings as Kobe. Too bad it's not going to happen.
This is one Blazer fan who applauds Master Shake's woofing in your forum after a win by his Raptors. It will be one of the few chances he has to woof all season. Best to take advanage of the opportuniy when it presents itself. There won't be many more.
Dude, who cares? You watch one game and think you have a clue. He's supposed to be a 3rd string center on the Celtics. He's playing a small role, and playing well in it. Who the hell cares if he has one bad game here and there? I don't care why he came here, i just care that he's here and contributing. And why would anybody care about losing a regular season game? My bad, i just hate it when ppl who know nothing about the Raptors, just look at his rebounding numbers and say he's shit. Raptors have out rebounded their opponent in 9 of the last 12 games. Its not like his poor rebounding numbers were hurting the team. I say numbers, because he actually does box out and clears space but doesn't go after the rebound. I think he doesnt care bout the number and just sees that a team rebound is good enough. Obviously, he will never be Rodman but he's not really hurting the team too much. Secondly, when saying that Shaq should be embarrassed, you pointed out his scoring numbers. Bargnani is lights out shooter and can score in a variety of ways, including getting to the line, which he did today. People just remember the bust tag and continue to believe that it still applies.

However, his game has gotten a lot better. What he lacks in rebounding, he makes up for on defense and with quickness. As ilmago has pointed out; he is a lights out shooter PLUS he's got a great IQ. No danger of missing the playoffs, but right now they are not on pace for HCA..which became essential last year. But the season is long and we still haven't figured out whether there are real threats beside Boston coming out of the east and what are SAS and NOH really doing
