If the Heat don't win it all this year I can see Nate being a top candidate for the Heat job. His ISO heavy offense seems almost perfect for Miami.

    Thoughts?

That team is almost uncoachable. They have a lot of arrogant egos and I doubt they listen to their coach now. I doubt they'll listen to Nate, either. I think they would respect Riley or maybe Doc. It'd be a job for a ring or two, but he'd be a puppet coach.

Not so fast, my friend. PJ's agent has already been in contact with Pat. Besides, Nate told me a while back that many, many aspects of LeBron James game/life are what's wrong with today's NBA.

Maybe there's hope for the rest of the league after all.

Best chance to win a ring or two or three or four of any coaching job in the NBA. The coaching job of the Heat is a HOF opportunity. If offered, who wouldn't accept, including Nate.

It would be funny if Phil Jackson retires and suddenly Nate is caught in a bidding war between Lakers and Heat.

Wade will cure that problem. He knows what it takes to be a champion and has the drive to put his foot up Bosh's ass when the playoffs approach.

And I thought, all this time, Bosh was a sparkplug. ;)

Wade is deluded. He called them the greatest threesome ever before they even played a single game. The Heat are going nowhere. They'll win some games. Obviously, they won't go 75-7 like some in here predicted and they will go nowhere in the playoffs if the Celtics are healthy. I can't wait to watch the Lakers rout them on Christmas Day.

And why do you think I said there will be a coaching vacancy at the end of the season?

Well Pat Riley will likely take over by Christmas and then he'll probably re-sign himself for next season.

Riley greatly overrates himself. He doesn't have Kareem Abdul-Jabbar now. He disappears when his team loses its best players and he'll look bad.

Now we appreciate what Raptor coach Sam Mitchell went through while he was on the hot seat for a couple of years before being fired.

McMillan would bring that team up to the 55-win glass ceiling and then say, "I keep telling them to fast break and they won't."

Ya know, that's a real interesting observation. But I'm going to disagree with these thoughts...

Most coaches (but not all) have their niches. That is, the better coaches are really good at something particular. maybe it's taking sub quality talent and coaching them up to be a better team than the talent level suggests (Nellie, Nate), but can't win titles. Some coaches are brilliant at X's & O's. Some are good at coaching great players others cannot coach. To me, that's Riley (and also Phil Jackson). Riley gets the respect of great players and they listen and play hard for him. He leaves when the great players are gone as he can't coach mediocre players to be better. His specialty is coaching great players and bringing them together. That's why he'd be as perfect coach for that team.

Yeah, that agrees with what I said. So you're absolutely wrong saying you disagree with me, and absolutely right in what you said. It shows you're good with facts like me, but bad at judgements unlike me.

I wrote this in the paradoxical style I like to see in my signature.
