I thought maybe he'd be looking for some more insurance in the center back position but I guess not. Otherwise we aren't really in need. Vela has been a disappointment but we have JET waiting in the wings.
Not happy. I still think we need a decent keeper, and cover at defensive midfield. I'm also not convinced about our centre backs, but I can wait until the end of the season to see if they improve.
I think we'd have to be in a pretty desperate mode to want to buy a keeper in January. We're not there right now and haven't been for several weeks. I agree that getting a world class keeper is important but realistically I don't see it happening. Wenger is sticking to his Poles. Hopefully Vermaelen will get back soon.
This can't come soon enough. We've really missed him, and would be in a different situation if he'd been playing. I wonder how many points clear we'd be at the top of the table?
