Time to rest the starters. Let Bosh get some work in though. Or maybe not, just get this game over with.
It is tough for a crowd to keep up negative or positive energy for an entire game. Saw it the last couple of years with us during the playoffs. For game one of the Houston series, the crowd was spent after the first quarter with the level of cheering early and amount of pre-game entertainment. Most of the time the Portland crowd knows when to bring it. Just got home and had to turn it off after a few minutes. Reggie was running his mouth telling the Cleveland fans they just need to get over it and they were acting like a jilted lover. Reggie, those guys are paying him and you millions of dollars each year. They can act just about any way they want. A life long Pacer fan, but Mark Jackson, Reggie Miller, and Jalen Rose can all piss off.
TNT filtered out a lot of the noise in the building so we could hear Reggie blab on and on. But it was plenty loud in the Q. See:
I think the major problem was, like with any big game, the tickets probably became so expensive that only the stiffs in their business suits could afford tickets. I bet the upper deck was hoppin'.
