Yes, I'm aware. But you said 2 of the last 3, didn't you? The Falcons missed the playoffs last year, so they must still suck.
That's not what I was saying. Your claim was the NFC is better because the Saints won the SB last year, so that must mean the Falcon(s) aren't a playoff team because that's how they finished last year. And last year (and three yrs ago) is the best way to judge this year, correct?
Steelers aren't better than the Falcons, Saints, Chicago and maybe even the Packers and Eagles are better than the Steelers. My buddies are Steeler fans so I've watched most of their games this year. They simply aren't as good as people think. The should of lost to Buffalo and Miami. The Cincinnati game was a joke how they handled it at the end. They could just as easily be 6-5. They are going to get beat handily by the Ravens tonight IMO.
Every team has games that they "should have lost". It's just the way the NFL is. I would rather face all those teams you mentioned over Pittsburgh.
Steelers just haven't impressed me. That game against Buffalo wasn't just a should have lost. Steve Johnson let the most catchable ball possible just slip through his hands. Looks like Big Ben is getting fucked up by the Ravens D early. Nice
I'm just saying that, year in and year out, most everyone claims that the AFC is the better conference. I'm simply saying that what really counts is SB's, where the NFC has certainly held its own. I'd be curious, though, what the overall inter-conference record is between the AFC and NFC thus far this season.
Yeah, I am talking about this year, exclusively. I thought the Saints were the best team all year last year. But the year they sent 9-7 Arizona to the SB was an embarrassment. BTW MickZagger, how about those Steelers?
They still don't impress me. Dicey play calling by Harbaugh cost them that game. They still have an inept offense.
