I have no problem with Gordon being gone, but this just isn't true. BG has a killer instinct that Korver doesn't. Deng is still worth more than Gordon, in my world at least.
Korver has every bit as much confidence that his next shot is going in that BG has. The difference is nobody has ever maxed out their team running their offense for Korver. http://www.basketball-reference.com...m=0&p1=korveky01&y1=2011&p2=gordobe01&y2=2011 You tell me where there is any appreciable difference. The only real difference is Korver is playing to his strengths as a 3pt shooter.
I think there are pretty obvious differences between Korver and Gordon. Gordon can create his own shot, Korver can't. Gordon is great shooting off the dribble and in iso's, and Korver isn't. Gordon is a much better ball handler than Korver. They play different positions. Both are great shooters, and are used in similar ways on offense, but the similarities stop there.
BG is a mediocre to bad ball handler. Defenses want him to dribble. Neither can finish at the rim. And if a step-back, fadeaway is what you consider creating your own shot, I'll take Korver for half the price.
