But he could've been on his way to 6 rings years ago, had he not broken up the team (and Shaq not been a big fat ass)

    Haha ok.

I didn't mention James at any point. Your example is awful.

He could be well on his way to 7 or 8.....

It didn't work out just fine. He was such a big bitch he ran the most dominant player in the league out of town. THAT is selfish. Roy being correct in saying him and Miller aren't a great fit really isn't imo..

I understand why they broke up.

I don't find Kobe to be selfish, and his fanboys need to be put in check. I'm in the middle ground.

Name me a great player that went to management and essentially told them to give him a new PG. I mean seriously. If your good, you learn how to play with each other.

    Roy is certainly a diva.

maybe not a PG, but Kobe basically said he wanted a new center or he'd leave/not resign/demand to be traded.

    twice.

Were seriously going to compare Smush Parker and Andre Miller? Parker was garbage. Were a below .500 team and we don't have anyone near as bad as Parker in our starting lineup. Same goes for Kwame Brown who was their starting Center.

It may take trading Miller for this team to really suck balls and get a legit shot at Kyrie Irving or Kemba Walker ... and it might finally show Roy just how washed up he really is, which might hasten either his move to the bench or him taking an early retirement.

Damn ... The more I think about this the better I feel about giving Roy his way.

    Git'r done Cho!!

That wasn't the question. The question was:

"Name me a great player that went to management and essentially told them to give him a new PG."

You think Kobe liked playing with Smush? You think Roy likes playing with Miller? Miller might be better than Smush but he's still not a great fit. Nothing wrong with Roy saying that imo because I agree with him.

You're right. I was wrong about that. I forgot about that Lakers team when Kobe had garbage talent surrounding him. If I was the best player in the league I would've wanted upgrades at PG and C as well.

Actually you've got it ass backward, Roy is no longer a great fit with Miller ... or maybe anyone. So him demanding that the team's best player be traded so he can go back to the good old days, when his body has basically revolted and made that impossible means he's actually dead wrong to ask management to trade Miller.

It's never been a good fit. Miller was a "use it or lose it" hook to keep part of RLEC. He knows Roy doesn't like playing with him, but he's kept his mouth shut and played well since he's been here. For that, I'll always appreciate Dre's contribution to this team.
