I'm going to compile a list of some of the films I'm excited to see for next year and post a trailer for each one.

    The Eagle

Kevin MacDonald is a pretty good director and wouldn't be surprised if the Eagle is pretty good; disclaimer Channing Tatum is in it so who knows. MacDonald did The Last King of Scotland and State of Play.

    Hanna

Not a huge fan of Joe Wrights other work(Pride & Prejudice, Atonement) but it will be interesting to see his foray into an Action film after two period films. The trailer does look a little campy though.

I loved Duncan Jones first film Moon and am excited for his sophomore debut. It looks like a cross between Deja Vu and Minority Report.

    Paul

Put the pair from Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz add Seth Rogen into the mix and top it off with the Director of Superbad. Could just be over the top ridiculous and contrived but might be worth watching.

    The Tree of Life

Terrence Malick is an incredible Director and not many are more accomplished as him. His films are very artistic to say the least, and his trailer for his new film is extremely cryptic. What is the film about? Life, Love, Family, Nature, Faith, or the Universe? This is probably next years early Best Picture favorite.

The Tree of life looks really good, I can't wait for it. Another movie I am looking forward to this year is Super 8, looks pretty cool but I am a sucker for cloverdale monster type movies.

Yeah, I left off the blockbusters and focused on movies people may have not heard of.

I like those guys from Shaun of the Dead/Hot Fuzz but Paul looks horrible. And then Kristen Wig showed up and ensured it would be.

Also, incredible to see a Roman-era anything without British accents.

Never got why British accents lent any credence to films set anywhere in Europe but Britain.

    Colonel Ronan Continue...?

    Because we're European.

LOL since when to Brits consider themselves part of Europe? You guys refer to Europe the same way we do.

"Britain needs to be in the driving seat of Europe. In the driving seat, or in the passenger seat, that's pretty good, you know, ‘cause you can take a sleep for a little bit... "Are we there yet?" At the moment, Britain's not even in the European car. We're outside the car, at the traffic lights, going, "We're going to clean your windows, all right?"
