According to the major ticket resellers, ticket orders from Alabama are outpacing ticket orders from Oregon by a 2-1 margin. THE FUCKING BCS TITLE GAME IS ON PAC-10 HOME TURF FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!! MAN UP, STATE!!! JESUS!!! When is the next time an Oregon sports team will even SNIFF a chance at a major national championship. EVER???? The entire goddamn state should pack up, invade Glendale, set up a perimeter around University of Phoenix stadium and bring that place to it's KNEES in Green and Yellow. Fuck the SEC. Fuck the South. FUCK THE MEDIA. Cam Newton is just ripe for a fall. Auburn is cocky, loose, and begging for a beatdown. ROLL DUCKS ROLL!!!!!
Hey Chris! Love your passion and fight. I'm confident Oregon fans will represent. We might not be the majority, but we'll be the loudest! It's plausible that Auburn fans have waited, where Oregon fans jumped on tickets earlier. Due to the SEC Champ game, we also suspected we'd be in the game earlier. Last year I was surprised at the numbers of tOSU fans at the RB, compared to Oregon's. It wasn't even close. But, that was understandable given the huge fan base and larger enrollment/alums. Auburn and Oregon have nearly identical enrollments(20,000) so it should be more balanced. Hopefully, it is at the game! Go Ducks!!
There were more Oregon fans at the RB last year. The tOSU side didn't have as many seats with the first few rows used for something else. That made it seem it was almost equal in the number of fans but Oregon actually had more fans in the stadium.
Alabama has a stronger economy than Oregon, but not 2-1. Rumor is there are two buying pools in Alabama, Auburn fans buying tickets and Alabama fans buying tickets to go and root for the Ducks.
Tort - how did you arrive at this conclusion? I sat front row, right on the border between tOSU and UO sections. It was a perfect area to observe and listen to the fans. I would disagree with you but no biggie. tOSU was very well represented.
Yes, tOSU was well represented but my son and I thought before the game at the tailgate party there were way more Oregon fans and once we got inside we were surprised how many tOSU fans there were. We started looking at the tOSU sections and compared them to the Ducks sections and on Oregon's side the sections had more seats/rows and had more people from my observation. I would say it was Ducks 55% to tOSU 45%. They were loud though and for me the Ducks were not that loud. I think it had partially to do with the game and the way we played.
Interesting. We were guessing 60/40 with tOSU fans with the edge. Here's a good pic that shows colors... I believe you on the seats, just didn't see it with me own eyes. http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl...Lm3Aw&esq=1&page=1&ndsp=24&ved=1t:429,r:0,s:0
FUCKKKK! I just sold a 100-level, 21st row, 20 yard-line seat on the visitor side today for $4800 cash. Oh well ... I'm guessing I'll be able to get something for under $1000 on Sunday night or Monday.
I think it will be close to 50/50. Oregon fans bought the tickets far before Barn fans did. Remember that. Weeks before we started buying them.
That’s interesting. You know what makes me sick. You Do! Maybe we should chug on over to mamby pamby land and maybe we can find some self confidence for you – you jack wagon! Tissue? You cry baby!
