Marshawn Lynch just made an amazing run in the playoffs to basically put the nail in the coffin of the Saints. It was one of the better runs you will ever see, try to check it out on youtube if you missed it. Paul Allen is going to be riding a high after this game, and it might just be enough to motivate him to pull the trigger on a deal.
I utterly fail to see how any of this correlates with PA making moves in the NBA. But if that's how me makes his management decisions then god help us all.
A deal to try and make the team better this season? Maybe. I agree with nik that that would be a bad way to make decisions, but if the deal is a good one, great.
It'll be the opposite; he'll be more trusting of the team(s) he has as they are because the team(s) he has is/are winning.
Sadly, I was thinking the same thing. Since their Superbowl trip, the Seahawks have been a train-wreck....yet somehow they make the play-offs with a losing record, and even win in the first round. Worst possible lesson for an owner.
Did you guys see that stiff arm? Paul Allen should sign Marshawn Lynch to be Portland's backup power forward. He's physical.
He plays bigger. Just like Kevin Love. You really think he has the ball-handling skills to play point guard? Unrealistic.
On a side note I was really disappointed when my Packers didn't trade a 3rd round pick for Lynch when he was available; I have a feeling they could have used him for a playoff run.
