The UFC isn't waiting for Cain Velasquez to heal. The UFC HW champ is sidelined due to injury for the next 8-12 months but the UFC will create an interim title in the meantime. The clear top contender to the title is Junior dos Santos who has won six straight in his UFC tenure. However his opponent is not yet known--the most likely candidates being Shane Carwin and Brock Lesnar.

Brock Lesnar and Junior dos Santos will be coaching TUF 13 and then will face-off for the interim title strap at the end.

Lesnar as a coach is a bit odd but I can live with it. Should be an entertaining season. Perhaps not as good as Wand/Sonnen but still.

He has good take-down defence but probably not good enough to keep Brock from taking him down. Brock took down Velasquez (but couldn't keep him there). Dunno about Cigano's BJJ but it must be alright considering his training partners.

I think Brock is just too big and JDS gives up too much weight for him to make something happen.

If Brock can't rush him and get him down, he'll go to sleep in round 1. If he can successfully take him down, he should be able to lay on top of him and pound him out.
