Or better still, can everyone just use the ignore feature and stop feeding the troll? Of course he posts inaccurate information. He knows he'll get more attention that way, and attention is what he craves and what motivates him to post deliberately misleading, overly negative misinformation. Anyone who is still reading, and responding to, his posts deserves what they get - more of the same tired shit. If you're tired of his lame, worn out act, put him on ignore and be done with it.

You do realize that Denver's GM is less experienced than Cho, right?

One GM has the audacity to offer such a trade and the other is dumb enough to accept. Having two green GM's just makes it worse.

No one has done anything yet. You can say that after (if) such trade goes down.

I like Harris a lot, but it's clear the Nuggets would rather have Batum than him. His value is set by the market and think he's seen as a little too overpaid by some teams looking to cut costs like Denver.

Who in the hell would play small forward then?

Next years draft class is going to suck and New Jersey would probably only get the 11th or 12th pick in the draft if the Melo trade goes through.

Portland is going to be very, very lucky to get a player who will end up being as good as Batum with a pick in that range.

Batum for Favors would be painful but at least understandable.
Trading Batum for a draft pick is absurd.

Yes, of course you're correct. The knock on Cho is that he's stupid.

I would do miller and batum for harris and favors. They get cap relief and the player they covet. If they don't like it then too bad.

If you are correct.....good take. Major props to you.

If you are wrong......you are beyond dumbass status for coming up with such a ridiculous conclusion from this article.

There are five teams in the East all but guaranteed to get in (Miami, Boston, Chicago, Orlando, Atlanta).

That leaves three spots for the other 10 teams. New York has a pretty big lead on the seventh seed (6 games), so that's two spots for nine teams.

Could New Jersey beat out five of the six teams ahead of them after this series of trades? Sure. Is it at all likely? I don't think so. They're a BAD team right now and they'd need to make up a lot of ground to get to mediocre. I don't think that bringing in veterans will help the team gel immediately and there's only half of the season to go.

Nothing has happened. This is a rumor. Cho is much smarter than ANYONE on this board when it comes to basketball. I trust the guy. Calling for his firing based on a rumor is ridiculous and makes Blazer fans look stupid. Of course Mixum isn't a real fan so I'm not including him in that group. Shame on the rest of you.

This thread is the funniest thing I've read in a long time. Thanks, MIXUM. Where would this board be without your constant hyperbole and BS?

We can agree to disagree, then. Over the last half of the season, I see NJ with Carmelo, Billups, Rip as at least 5 games better than Philadelphia, Indiana, toronto,Charlotte and Detroit.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
I'd do that, as I think Harris is about as good as Miller but younger. I like Batum a lot, but I think Favors is also loaded with talent and I'd trade small for big.

It's probably not a trade that Portland could get, but I'd also consider Batum for either Harris or Favors. In terms of draft picks, Batum for anything short of a top-five pick would be pretty awful in my mind.

It says that Denver really, really wants Batum and Favors ... Nowhere does it say Cho is considering dumping him for just a pick or two.
