I could give two shits what somebody's draft position is. I only care about what they do (or don't do) when they are on the court.
Well, anything Patty gives us is gravy in my mind. And him being on the floor prevents PHX from throwing aggressive double teams at Aldridge, so I don't really mind him in there. I can live with his mistakes. We just need to find a way to hide him on D-- putting him on Nash was a dumb decision.
You can really only hide him by putting him on a player with no offense, that player doesn't exist on Phoenix's roster outside of their centers.
