Too much Celtics, not enough healthy Blazers. Oh well.

If I'm Nate, I'm getting the hell out of Portland just to try and reverse the karma.

Paul Allen should have never screwed over the local creditors...

Hasn't stopped him before from chucking up the ball. He did at least have one assist tonight when Rudy hit that deep three with a guy in his face.

So if I have this right, tonight's loss can be blamed on 1. Miller 2. Matthews 3. PA

I am starting to get your vibe.

Miller was fine, so erase him.

I'm sure there is something to this Paul Allen/karma thingie, though.

The cart started going off the tracks in about the 3rd quarter and we just couldn't muster a comeback. At least it was not a blow-out and we did give Boston a bit of a run for their money, plus Przy got some blows in.

    Thoughts on the game:

I didn't think Babbit did too badly considering he was playing in his first "real" playing time against one of the best teams in the league, and having to guard Paul Pierce at that. In fact, I was glad to see the kid finally get some playing time.

It was ridiculous that Portland didn't get any trips to the free throw line until Nate got the T. I was watching on TNT because I was home sick (I wanted to be there badly) and I could hear him plainly say "They have got 14 free throw attempts and we have zero, but all of our points are in the paint." Then very plaingly a couple of minutes later, Doc Rivers is going off like a crazy man about a no call and he doesn't get a T. This is the type of bullshit that makes me want to stop watching NBA basketball.

I look forward to the day Rudy is no longer with the team, so he can go stink it up somewhere else. He is down to 33% 3 point FG% and 36% from the field. I would rather give Babbit his minutes, and see what he could do. Chances are, it's not worse than what Rudy is doing.
