How do you explain his performance which made him the consensus #1 draft pick before he came to Portland? He probably didn't eat the way you'd like him to before he came here. I don't think you'll be happy until he's eating three squares a day at Old Wives' Tales.
Are you serious? Every report I've heard about his mental state is that he's frustrated and borderline depressed about his injuries. You don't recall him apologizing to KP after surgery? Imagine the expectations being put upon him and not being able to live up to them. The guy is a competitor. Imagine not being able to trust your body? Imagine working your ass off in rehab only to get injured again. There is no evidence to be able to state GO doesn't "share the misery".
Congratulations on your trolling. It seems to be really working for you. Good luck filling the void in your life having a Cluster B personality leaves.
What about college? How could he have grown to be so large, so quick and so strong eating so poorly? And by any measure (other than being able to run right now due to the MF), Oden is in shape.
How much do you think he can bench press? How many situps, pushups, etc.? What do you think his resting heart rate is? How do you think his aerobic condition is? I bet even not being able to run, he can still pump a ton of oxygen to his muscles.
He can't even get on a basketball court right now. I'm not sure what your point is, but he's not in basketball 'shape', at least in terms of getting on the court.
My point is that everyone bitching about him not being healthy is probably in worse shape than Oden. Also, I said "in shape" not "in basketball shape".
Here's a vid I capped from CSN back in 2008. Shows him shopping. He's buying hotdogs, there's some chips, taco seasoning, meat, eggs, lightbulbs, strawberry milk, probably some other stuff too. He talks about cooking on his George Foreman grill. Dunno if anything has changed. He did go on to play in the next season, which is where a lot of his highlights are from. If you want to get on someone for eating crap, maybe try Dwight Howard or Andre Miller. Note that neither of these guys seem to be injury prone or really get much flack for their diet.
