This trade idea brought to you by cocaine. Frankly, I'll take LA over Love in and of itself. Rubio is probably not going to be a good NBA player.
Compared to what I've seen around here, this is one of the better ones. To be serious for a moment.. I see Love as Zach. A lot of stats, but not a lot of wins for the team. And given our depleted roster, Minny plays with more talent at the moment than we do. It's one thing to pile up stats and another to help your team win games. I see Love play and while he's a pretty good player he just seems to accumulate stats. Also, he's not very athletic and those types often flame out by age 30 or 31. The more athletic types like LA remain fairly productive until 35 or 36. So I'll keep LA.
Based on his previous performance, I would imagine he gets most of his personnel ideas from internet forums.
My Extreme Trade: I'll trade my copy of Waiting for the Punchline on CD for a copy of Pornograffitti on cassette.
My extreme trade? Trade Nate Macmillan to the TNT Broadcast team for Kevin McHale. Dude was shitty GM but a better then average coach. Also, the original trade idea would be the worst trade since Drexler for Otis Thorpe.
That's plain BS! Ricky Rubio is a better PG than Miller now and is on the upside compared to Miller's downside. What I'm talking about is trading Oden for Love, Moving LaMarcus is done only to further his career. Now, can you resist a 9-player lineup of Armon, Ricky, Rudy, Patty, Nico, Dante, Wesley, Love, Joel and Marcus Camby just because it's a 10 player lineup?!
