I think he intended to do exactly what he did. If he didn't mean it to come off the backboard it wouldn't have came near LA. He didn't throw it at or where he'd be at I don't think, he threw it to bounce it off the backboard to LA. Of course I can't say that for a fact, but it looked like that to me. HCP, why don't you ask Miller?
Just got to our hotel in Denver... Cold as shit!!!!! Great win tonight, guys were pretty chill. Hope the guys get some rest, play again in 15 hours !
Great game, and a blast to be at the RG for it. The atmosphere was almost playoff like. What more can be said about LMA. He flat-out beasted, and was easily the best player on the floor. Miller was incredible as well. Played exactly as a veteran should; got the ball to the hot hand, and took high percentage shots. He completely outplayed Tony Parker, and it may have been his best game of the year. Matthews was solid in the 4th, and was all over the court. There is nothing to complain about, so let's hope that effort extends to Denver tonight!
I had to shovel my sidewalks and driveway this morning. I was outside for over an hour starting at 5:00 AM. It's now 10:00 AM, I'm wearing a sweater (Mr. Rogers style) in my office and I still haven't warmed up.
I wish they would change it so the fans get Chalupa's if we stop the opposing team from getting 100. That seems much more important to our W-L record.
They'd be giving too many chalupas....because with Portland's pace, other teams are not very likely to score over 100.
That was the best win of the season and LA's best game as a Blazer. If they play even 80% as well against Denver they will have a great shot at winning that game.
Make it 90 then. That means even more defense. There is nothing that makes me more angry than when it is a tight game, and the Chalupa chant goes up when we may not even win the game. No fans should get Chalupas for a loss, period.
