Take BART to work. My employer pays people a $4 per day rebate if we do not drive. And they pay for my BART pass. Does take longer than driving, but no traffic, no expense, no wear and tear on car or my nerves, can read, listen to iPod, or snooze. Not bad for $4 a day.
I'm with you. Once I started working in downtown Seattle last year I could start taking the train. Company paid for the rail pass, and I had 35 min each way to read and eat and sleep. Now that I'm looking at moving to DC, I'm looking for places around the metro stations.
