You can see the fear in her eyes near the end of the clip. Not a "I just fucked up my career!!" fear, but a "what the fuck is happening to me right now??" fear. I hope she is OK.
She wasn't hospitalized and didn't have a stroke. She was checked out by an ambulance but everything was ok. So that means it's ok to make fun of her!
Maybe she was speaking in tongues? Seriously, though, it may have been a TIA or even a small stroke. She should get a CT scan ASAP.

I think it was just being tongue tied. She was obviously nervous, she got off to a bad start and she just butchered it. I've done that before in acting, but never quite THAT bad.
She's a 2-time Emmy nominee for her reporting. I don't think she was nervous. I don't know what that was, and I doubt she does either. According to the station's website, she is going in for further medical tests. I imagine a CT scan is in her immediate future. http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/personality/serene-branson/
KCBS 2 television reporter Serene Branson's garbled speech during a live Grammy broadcast last Sunday was not the result of a small stroke as many have speculated but was instead a symptom of a "complex migraine," according to her physician, Dr. Neil Martin, chief of neurosurgery at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. Martin received permission from Branson to discuss her condition publicly. http://www.latimes.com/health/boostershots/la-heb-branson-episode-20110217,1,2927396.story
man, that's a tough condition to have for an live reporter. Never knowing when the next migraine is going to happen? Yikes
