Yet you'll still never beat the Lakers in a 7 game series.

http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/hollinger/statistics - Now, look at that PER list, the one where LeBron (the #1 player for PER) is a 26.57. Now, think about LMA's play since December 5th: a few bad games, a lot of good games, and some great games. LMA's PER since 12/5 is 28.0; his PER since 12/15 is better, but I don't have a good number to start with.

LaMonster might be the best player in the NBA right now.

Since you're so smart, show us the way to make this team elite this year.

With a healthy Roy and Camby, we match up OK with anyone and have a shot at pulling off a 1st round upset.

    Love the avatar!

I'd target Speights and Williams from Philly....both 23, both show good flashes of potential when they have received playing time....both stuck on the bench. You know Collins wants some vets, and Philly wants to make the playoffs....

I'd be all over OJ Mayo...young, 23, serious skill, stuck coming off the bench for a craphole franchise....

Courtney Lee is out there and has some appeal...

What about Kaman from the Clips? injury prone, yes...but who is going to play C when Camby & Przybilla are gone? Are you going to soley rely on Oden and Sean Marks?

I liked Carl Landry and he went for a bag of peanuts....

How long do you think Rudy is going to stay happy when his minutes take a nosedive with Roy's return?

Does anyone really think POR is going to RESIGN Joel and his greatly deteriorated game?

Boston is looking for a little vet help for thier playoff run, I'd go after Semih Erden and Avery Bradley....I am sure they would have interest in Camby...

I would certainly inquire about Varejao....

If there is ANY truth to the rumours that DEN may look to deal Nene, I would be dangling Batum and whatever else necessary for him and Felton right now....

How badly does GS want to unload Biedrins contract, do they even want to? What would it even take to get him?

Same goes for Aaron Brooks who appears to have lost favor in HOU

ORL is still looking to tweak thier roster for a stretch run, I'd certainly see what they would want to offer for guys like Camby & Miller....Ryan Anderson, Jameer Nelson, JJ Redick, Brandon Bass all are interesting possibilities....

Enough possibilites? And elite this year? Get real, that wasn't going to happen no matter what....with other WC teams BEHIND POR imploding...The Blazers wqould be WISE to trade thier aging assets for some young players and\or picks and STILL make the playoffs...

    See how that works?

Paul Allen and his IDIOTIC advisors can't seem to get out of thier own bungling way....and some of you praise him? The guy is a fucking buffoon...

^^ I dont think much of that makes us better. Nene is the only player that excites me on your list.
I was high on Landry, but not so much anymore since he hasnt done much on a horrible Kings team.

First, it takes two to trade and you haven't presented a compelling case who we could offer that would make a deal all but certain.

Second, all you did was throw out a bunch of names who may or may not be available without figuring out who we would give up, which players we would still have on the roster and how they would fit together.

    This ain't fantasy hoops.
